Historic Lakeside Residence

This Landmarked residence was designed and built in 1937. It was designed in the “Adams Style” which was a prevalent style in 18th century England by Robert Adams and his brothers. Preeminent and prolific Architect John Volk was the creator of this Palm Beach masterpiece in homage to the Adams brothers.

We wanted to be respectful to the Architecture, but at the same time, wanted to modernize and mold the interior of the house to the Clients specific needs. The house was designed with large service areas for in-house social events. Our goal was to convert these rooms, and rooms on the second floor, into more modern and family-oriented spaces, replicating existing details, to create a cohesive design with the existing house. I was teamed up with an Architectural firm, based in West Palm Beach, to design the Interior Architecture of the primary spaces.
